Yes. I know it is cheap and isn't going to be anything special. But I just wanted to screw around with it. Anyone tried one.

Fun for a day, then you bust a few arrows, one lands on the house, shoot the target..shoot the beer can...shoot the tree(bust an arrow)..shoot the basketball (bounces off)...shoot the bird (miss twice, arrow on the house)..shoot for distance...shoot straight up...all arrows are lost or broken and it sits on the shelf for 3 years until you spot some arrows at Wal-mart and discover the string breaks the first time you cock it after 3 years. Then you sell it for a buck at a garage sale unless your nephew runs off with it. Beats the stuff out of 2 tickets to Paranormal activity 2.

I have a real crossbow and it's nothing to write home about. Minute of deer out to 50 yards tops. I prefer .22s or even BB guns for just plinking. Cocking it for every shot gets old.
Cross bows are for people who cant shoot real bows. Yes you will tire of it quickly. Get an adult air pistol. At least it will be accurate enough to hit squirels on your bird feeder, the squirels then go in the dinner pot. Eventually you can recoupe your initial expense with the savings on bird seed and lean meat. At least thats how I justified my air pistol purchase.
Yea, fun for a day, actually, 1/2 a day. Terribly inaccurate, not very powerfull. The "it's boring" factor is actually quite high. Might still have mine laying on a shelf downstairs somewhere. Probably right beside the cheap bb pistol, and the blow dart gun.

Had one a friend gave to me. Had to fab some darts for it. +1 for what everyone else said about them. I gave it back to him the next time he stopped by.
...oh, and the only way to own a blow dart gun is to make it Charles Bronson/Deathwish style.
