I've been wanting to try this, my new favorite late-ish hang out in town has it on the menu. They use a glazed donut from Voodoo Donuts in town. Voodoo Donuts has a maple bar served with bacon on top. It's the circle of life (or death, depending on your perspective).

I have long dreamed of a world where one day the glazed donut and bacon would come together in some kind of union... but beef and cheese too... that's like taunting Happy Fun Ball.

I think it would be more appropriate to order it with a liter of cola.

That's the sound of you having a coronary caused by looking at those. Please seek immediate medical assistance.

We bet a guy at work he wouldn't drink a tub of that stuff that had been sitting around all day (lunch party at work while working some holiday). He drank it, for $1.35.

Another time they were making hot dogs for us all day, not grilled but cooked in water. After 6 or so hours and hundreds of dogs they were done, never changed the water once. We got a guy to drink a big gulp cup full of the water.

Right now, about 10 blocks from me, the second largest street festival in the country is going on. There are 126 food booths, and most of them pride themselves on having the most f'ed up, fried _____ you can imagine. Here's the list of food if you're curious. http://www.nutclub.org/images/stories/pdfs/2009Munchie.pdf
