22°F with 20+ mph winds … wind chill to 11°
yeah not "cold" by some of y'alls standards … but plenty cold enough for me

Currently 17°F, wind 29mph - wind chill of -3°. And the weather people say it's gong to get worse tonight!
35 below wind chill this am. Schools were open and everyone went to work as usual. One of the major network talking heads told people they should stay home because it was dangerously cold. You think the media may be out of touch with reality?
We are sitting at 46. It's supposed to be 19 by 7am. We don't get much colder than that. I've only seen single digits once in the last 47 years.
The local school board has delayed the start of school for 3 hours. It kind of makes sense. A lot of the children around here don't have clothes for those temps, because we don't see temps this low often.
I guess I can say winter finally showed up.
it's 12° here now 7:40p prediction is 6°
headline in yesterdays paper ….
"Is it too cold for the children to go to school ?"
we are truly raising a generation of Bob Costas … or maybe it's too cold for the teachers and they don't want to take the ribbing that would come their way if it became known

It is now 10 degrees at my house. I live in north Carolina. I moved south to get away from this E36 M3. Its berkeleying 10 degrees now, and I blame you.
Was reading -2 this am on the ride in to the office. Not looking forward to my impending travels north in the next weeks....

16 degrees outside this morning. High of 31 today, low of 19 tonight. That's like the second Ice Age around these parts.
You just HAD to open your big mouth, didn't you?
It actually made it down to 19. The wind chill drops it to 7. Not too shabby. I actually had to drag out a jacket and gloves.
The high for today is 35. That's actually a little cold for us. We usually get up into the high 40s or even 50s during the winter.
I love me some cold weather.
We are not going to see temps above freezing until some time next week and that is not even a sure thing.
0 right now, lows were in the negatives. yesterdays high was 16 with negative wind chills. supposed to be like this until monday when the high gets up to 30.
We hit -30 with windchill last night. Schools closed for the 3rd day in a row. Once due to a huge snow storm (Snowed at LEAST 3"!), and now twice due to temperatures.
Heatwave predicted here today, 10 degrees However, the temps are headed for sub zero again and the windchill will be -25 to -35 for the next 2 days and nights. Warm up predicted after that. So for areas south of us it is not over yet. Layer up and check those tire pressures.
Down to 20F here. Was 32F at midnight and down to 22F when I got out of bed. Actually had to winterize the boat yesterday. Last used it on Christmas day when it was 60F and sunny.

I actually used the Jet Boat several times Christmas weekend. Luckily the block on it drains. I did check the antifreeze in the cars yesterday.

I do, too. This is prime dirt biking weather, you can work your ass off riding as hard as you can and not break a sweat. Engines stay nice and cool for best power output. If luck is holding out, it will have rained recently meaning superb traction and no dust.
