This is silly, unimportant and more importantly I may be totally wrong but it's driving my nuts. I clearly remember there being an episode with two characters named Rockencrantz and Guildenstone. My kids think I'm nuts and my Googlefu isn't turning anything up. I'm turning to the hive because you guys know everything.

Are you referring to the original series of the early- mid-sixties?

Sounds plausible, but I cannot confirm.

I remember hearing Romeo-rock and Juliet-stone in a stage show in a rerun from the mid 60's show, but missed Hamlet references.

Romeo and Juliet is the one I was thinking of.  It has been a few years since I saw it.  Or, more accurately, a few decades.  I don't know if they did a Hamlet, besides maybe a reference here and there.
