Have you actually tried them at night, or are you just speculating they are better? Brighter is not inherently better. Especially considering how many of the aftermarket lamps throw their light.
If they really are better, I'd keep em.

I've used this same set of projector /bulbs/ballast in my subaru before going back to stock. They were a far sight better than stock there.
Have not yet done a direct comparison in this state. Need to do that before making a decision.
It looks off to me. Paint the housing dark color like smoke/ gloss or satin black or change the shroud (might want to paint that as well.)
My wife just said that it looks like the duster grew alien boobies. That cinched the decision. I now can't unsee that.
So, look for an upcoming learn me thread on 7 round headlights that don't look like alien boobies.
Maybe hella e codes with some super bulbs....

Agreed. There's gotta be something you can do to improve the appearance of them. Brighter bulbs with some tinting to hide the weirdness?
I'd go old school Datsun Z-car on them with a lightly tinted Plexiglas cover out at the front edge of the grill surround bent on the inside edges to seal up to the grill just outboard of the turn signals. Actually, if it were mine I would probably scrounge up another grill and put covers over the headlights and some really bright pencil beam lights mounted where the turn signals are now and then mount some small led turn signals in between the lights on each side.
