Help me monetize my feeble YouTube presence

Don't worry, my primary method of project updates will still be via this board. I have no interest in becoming a YT celebrity or influencer or whatever the berkeley those douches are called.

but I like money.

I need 1000 subscribers to start getting a share of revenue from ads that YT is putting on my videos, and I'm almost there. Just 964 shy, LOL. My videos will probably never be more "produced" than just me aiming my iPhone at whatever it is that i'm talking about. Still, if you see are entertained or educated by something I say or do, please subscribe and help me make a buck or two. I'll update this thread with progress toward the subscriber goal and whatever money flows in as a result.

I don't remember what number I was.  I subscribed a week or two ago when I realized you were on YT.  ( @VintageDailyDriver , 9 subscribers, but no videos yet, hopefully soon)

I was just mentioning to my wife that you had a good voice for videos; clear, easy to understand, no gimmicks.   Don't forget the watch hours, that's the big deal.   

Which also means that anyone here who clicks on Angry's videos make sure to watch all the way through, as the audience retention will help with the algorithm.

Subscriber, made me check to see how many subscribers I have. 14. I won't bother asking for a bump yet.

I subbed a while back. When I looked into it for mine and if I remember correctly you need to do 10+ min vids to get monetized as well as the subs and views.

I only need 990 more for the subs and I have yet to make a 10 min vid. I think that will change when I finally get into the 914. mrs. preach has offered to learn editing so that will help.

I might be #47 but I was expecting more anger out of you.

Keep posting videos - I love it!

10-15 minute videos are where success lies. Unless you are Derek Bieri, hour long episodes don't work.

One video a week is usually enough to keep the algorithm happy.

I was frankly astounded by how much money YT deposits in my checking account after getting monetized. An extra hundred or so every month is a nice amount to help with the hobby.
