The new baby is due January 26th. My wife and I just had our last ultrasound, before the baby decides to appear. Pix below. Pretty amazing stuff.

Whilst in uerto, we call the baby Shim. (Get it She/Him). We prefer to wait to know the gender until the baby appears. Hence my new name change.

Fun Fact Head = 94 percentile around.. (It's where you put the ego.)

My daughter has a head in the 98th percentile.

We're big headed people.

Color me shocked

Me, my wife, and adult kids all wear youth size caps

I've always said there's nothing wrong with a little head.

BTW, that ultrasound is amazing. I don't think they could do that when my kids were born.

Wow!! Ultrasounds have come a long way since my last kid was born.

Congrats Iggy!

Before my daughter was born, we had a 3D color ultrasound done. It was like seeing her kindergarten photo. Spooky.

Congratulations.

January is a great time to have a baby (both mine were born in January) -- it's always best to be among the oldest in class, or on a team, according to the research :).

Congrats -- makes the whole idea of "love at first sight" much clearer, eh?

Congratulations, big headed one!

It would be cool to still have the ultrasound for my daughter but it was printed on that thermal paper.

The ultrasound pics of my youngins looked like the tv was on a channel that wasn't there.

Congrats

Big props on waiting to find out Shim's gender. I hate cheating.

Meh. I think it's crazy. How are you going to paint the nursery, decorate, buy clothing, etc., etc., etc.? It's a self-indulgent act, IMO.

But it's your kid. Congrats!

We weren't given an option-the nurse told us right away. Damn the military hospitals!

Back on topic- Congratulations! Babies are fun. Teenagers are less so.

That's awesome.

I'll quibble with Tom- so far so good with teenagers. My son and I are having a blast building a race car.

I would argue it is self indulgent to know... But hey different strokes..

I like not knowing. It's a fun surprise and we have tons of gender neutral small baby clothes. This will be grandchild number 9 for my wifes side. 2 minutes after we announce the gender of the kid and large UPS boxes full of hand me down clothes will be at our door full of gender specific items.
