That only works when the incumbent is perceived as having done a good enough job come election time.

The jury still has a year to continue deliberations and review some compelling prosecutorial evidence.

i.e the corporate media campaign against Obama that started as soon as he took office that so much money was spent on seems to be working.

You mean the corporate media that invested so much to get him elected in the first place?

People watch whatever confirms their own biases. Here in Alabama, it seems like every house I walk into has the TV tuned to FOX News. I imagine in California, it is just the opposite.

In any case, Cain is done. He was nothing but a sideshow anyway.

I still doubt this.

I would, too, but I don't see his support lagging a ton.

Not really a good generalization. I will remind you that California (supposed liberal bastion) has voted against gay marriage rights, but seems to fine with how Kim KardASSian is "protecting marriage".

CNN has really turned on Obama now. The Kardashians get better coverage from them.

I am more interested in your personal opinion. I can look up the betting odds for the general public - according to Intrade Romney has 68.5% chance of winning the nomimation. Cain is 4th at 7.0%.

Just as much as Immelt, Sulzberger and Redstone were supporting McCain.

Thanks. I already agreed with you above, I think, unfortunately, that Romney will get the nod. I will not vote for either major party for President if that happens.

I feel like Romney is just getting shoved down our throats by the elite.

The corporate media is trashing Obama and ignoring Ron Paul. Any Republican who challenges him gets struck down. The back room deals have been made.

I wonder if I should even bother to vote this time.

I will not be voting for the president. I'll worry more about the state process as I'm sure we all know how the presidential voting system works.

HA! I'm totally a Herman Cain fan now - CNBC just played a clip of him singing at some meeting. He's doing Imagine, but the opening lyric was "Imagine there's no pizza. I couldn't if I tried".

That's really neat! Gotta like the guy just for that. If our CEO did something like that he'd earn my undying support. Go Herman Cain. Nice to see one of these guys who doesn't take himself too seriously.
