Good afternoon folks. As some of you know, I'm starting my own business and now I want a simple logo (and a slogan, but I can come up with that I suppose) and am looking to YOU for help. The business is called Mobile Comfort Solutions, LLC. and in a nutshell, I'll be offering fuel fired heaters for either the engine and/or passenger compartment of anything that is mobile, from Class 8 trucks to RV's to boats to off-highway equipment. I will expand to A/C units when my supplier is able to get it right.

On the slogan department, I think I can figure that one out. I want to take this opportunity to brag a little bit. about 18 months ago my wife started a business selling bras and other "foundation garments" to the "hard to fit" ladies. The business is called BraLingo and I came up with two slogans: 1) Supporting those who need support the most 2) We fix flats

2 nearly got me hit, but I laughed.

I suppose I'd like something in color. BTW, I'm not opposed to pay someone for something either. I kinda like 4cylinderfurys idea. BTW, one of the selling points of my products will be 1) saving you money 2) saving you fuel 3) helping the environment.

When I started my business a few years ago, I used a program called AAA Logo.

Used to be easy to use. Must have made 50 different logos before I settled on one I liked.

Might want to keep in mind it needs to be easily readable at 70MPH.

Easier to be a critic but here I go anyways.

I like the logo above but when written on the side of a van I think it may read as "Comfort Solutions - Mobile Unit". Sort of like a company named Comfort Solutions will/can travel to your site with their Mobile Unit. Some of that may still be what you want but it confuses me with typical home HVAC.
I think the logo should maybe include a steering wheel. I think that may help to bring home the point that in this context mobile is dirived from (auto)mobile comfort.
I also like the idea of incorporating the typical dashboard colors of blue and red like you might see in a cars heat controls. You know. that blue blending to red slide bar look.
For variations, maybe instead of a steering wheel a tire could be used to accentuate the car/truck idea but since it is an interior accessory, I like the steering wheel.

Kramer, I'm banking on that. There are many programs now that are going to help me out. I've even got contacts within some of those programs, and contacts to potential customers. Now, I'm the link between the needs (customers) and the need to helps (programs). Thanks for the heads-up though. I do appreciate it.

Good thoughts all. Thanks. I'm checking out that site Toyman01. I like the heat lines too, but I actually like all 3 ideas so far. I also like the idea of the blue blending to red like dashboard HVAC controls.

Expanding on my Blue - Red idea.

Inspiration:

Could Comfort be written in blue in the similar triangle fashion (letters get smaller) and Solutions be written in red starting with small letters and getting bigger?

Could the word Mobile be made in to the caractachure of a truck?
It could be a side view of a truck with the "o" and "e" making up two wheels?

I have no drawing skills.

Mobile (looks like truck some how)
Comfort (triangle blue)
Solutions (triangle red)

Just some thoughts.

I like the "mobile" looking like a truck or van, or maybe "MOBILE" could be in a font that looks like it's moving fast???? I'll do some looking at different fonts.....
