There seems to be plenty wise men and women (rare here) that have really good ideas, suggestions and answers to other members problem/issues. I’d like to know what you and your significant other do TOGETHER as a hobby. It comes across to me as difficult to do these days with time constraints with work, chores, social media, financials and those with kids. Travel is an obvious and easy answer however it’s pretty broad as a topic. I am really curious and looking forward to what everyone has to say.
We like outdoors adventures. Mostly hiking but some zip lining, boating, climbing thrown in.
She likes to ride along on autocross days but hasn’t been into driving too much lately.
We like to camp and canoe in summer and to try new restaurants all year round. We love to eat.
You can also look at the Mono/Amy threads for inspiration too
Well, it’s looking like racing will be ours. Carli bought herself a helmet and she’s going to make her first dragstrip passes friday
Vegetable gardening, some flower gardens.
Decorating? She is Martha Stewart and comes up with the design and I do all the work. In the end we enjoy the results.

My wife is one of those people that likes to dress up and go to comic book shows so she decided that making the props for the costumes would be my hobby. It's worked out better than I expected.
Travel has been our favorite thing to do together but we also have done competitive shooting (IPSC), motorcycle riding, kayaking, poker tournament, TSD Rally (this will test a relationship), autocross, kart racing, mountain biking and working on project car together. Both of you should make a list of things you find interesting and compare lists.
Ours is pub trivia. We usually seek it out when traveling, and there are several venues near home.
I'm usually either terrible or great. The missus knows every brat pack actors' home city, and every member of the E Street Band. She's more consistently useful. I shouted "It's not three-wheeled!" to a question about the make and model of Steve Urkel's three-wheeled car.
In reply to loosecannon :
We have yet to do a TSD rally, but we've done several scavenger hunt style rallies. Always stick with the idea that RALLY is an acronym: Road Activity with Lots of Loud Yelling. .. gets it out of the system for a couple weeks.
We like to mock others. And eat.
Seriously though, I feel we have a pretty unusual relationship. We don’t really have any common interests - we don’t even eat the same foods - but we’re the right kind of people for each other.

Music, dogs, fishing, boating, ice skating (she skates, I play hockey... open skate is fun for both of us), food, tv shows.
Used to be racing, but we both burnt out of that at the same time. We still do shows and movies (right now, we are spending all day watching movies at a film festival). And travel.
This time of year our common hobbies are collecting ticks and sweating. Trying to hitch up implements to the 8N together and foul language as a result.
Seriously, though. We don't have shared hobbies (she likes animals, I like things that don't have to be cared for daily...project cars). These are what I call "real estate intensive" hobbies though, so that works well together. We cross paths frequently while playing with our toys.
We started boating. I tried to get her to bike with me. She tried, both road and mountain but hated both. She doesn't like to wrench. Fast driving makes her sick. We hike as long as it's less than 2 miles, between 68 and 75 degrees, is partly cloudy, and not too steep. I don't like to knit, that and Farmville are all she does. So we bought a boat. Working out well.
Oh, and we bought part-season tix to the new local coastal league baseball team. I'm not a sports fan but she likes baseball and the local scene is fun. So that's ok.
Hiking and camping. Going to caverns is a thing we do annually. We play video games a lot together too when its E36 M3 outside
Skiing, biking, racing. We have 2 little ones now, so it is mostly taking care of them.
She hasn't done any of the above for about a year.... it's starting to strain us a bit.
This too shall pass.
Gardening, and bird watching, enjoying the great outdoors when we are Upstate NY. Luckily we have 25 acres to do it. The wife likes nice bird feeders, rock gardens etc. I like making them.

My buddy’s wife is into that for serious. I think he’s helped with props but she makes a lot of her own. She’s quite the artist.
Bicycling, boating, home improvement projects. My lady even enjoys riding shotgun for autocross, RallyCross and GRM $2k Challenges.
Shooting and just cruising around. She likes the dragstrip but has zero desire too make a pass. Otherwise her hobbys are indoor and mine lean towards outdoors.
We both used to drive the RX-7 at the dragstrip B.C. (Before Children). Fact is, she still has the fastest time (13.6@104). We both fish, canoe, play Hold 'em poker, and do gardening. We were even on a co-ed softball team for a while. And of course, raise two great kids.

That sounds like a blast!
We make quilts together, sort of. She likes cutting thing out and piecing. I like getting the colors right and figuring out weird technical piecing issues as well as as edge binding and other "one off" elements.
I learned cutting and piecing from a friend in college and taught my wife early in our marriage. About once a year she needs a task outside work to focus on so we start something new. Just bought fabric for the newest quilt yesterday.
