How do you listen to music? MP3 player, iPhone, Radio?
If the 50 and 60's was the era of the record, the 70's we had tape, (lovely 8-tracks!), the Sony Walkman, then CD's and now MP3's.
This Day in Music is running a poll to find out how you listen to your music.

Canoeish, but...
Records to listen to music, radio for variety (we have an excellent independent station, KDHX), iPod for convenience.
CDs in the car usually, I have an 1/8" audio jack on the radio, but don't bring my iPod unless I'm on a longer trip.
But how does this Canoe bot even work? Somebody spent a lot of time programming this but it doesn't seem to serve a purpose!

i like watching
I use a lot of internet radio these days. Pandora and GrooveShark mostly.
For the car, still CDs.
Slacker Radio and CD's mostly.
in the car its mostly radio in town... if I get annoyed with whats on I listen to one of the CD's in my 6 disc changer... yes my early 90's car is so awesome it has a changer ;-)
at home while in the garage I typically listen to a few internet radio stations that I stream over my phone into some computer speakers I keep in the garage.... or if i'm only in the mood for my music I stream it to my phone over my home network...
recently though got turned onto Pandora... prob is i typically like the variety they play on my chosen internet radio stations
Either mp3 on my computer or mp3 on my phone bother through headphones unless I'm in my car then its mp3 in phone out headphone jack through tapedeck converter out 6x8s.
All my LPs and 45s are in a climate controlled storage unit and I lost my CD collection years ago.

Mostly radio when in town. CD's on trips provided I remember them...
My g/f uses Pandora on her Droid, which is driving me nuts right now... she has it set some some channel that plays the same freakin' songs, over and over and over and over... I like Talking Heads, but if I hear Road to Nowhere one more time, I'm gonna lose it...
Loudly for the most part.
I will generally rock out with my c*ck out. But sometimes it's in.
It depends.

That's because Pandora is TERRIBLE. I've said it before, but once you start rating songs, regardless of your "channel," it starts playing the same songs across ALL of your channels.
That's why I like Slacker and Grooveshark as well, although I don't use Grooveshark as much.
Haven't tried Spotify yet.
Most of the time Ipod, this way the gf cant complain about what ever I am listing to.
Pandora, Jango, I pod on the go, spotify pandora and vinyl at home

Loudly. Preferably at 11.
ogg, not mp3
CDs don't hold enough, and I'm too young and deaf to appreciate vinyl.
