Hmmm, I don't think it'd be hard. SWB Jeeps are always going to sell, RHD is just a cool novelty to some, but for some rural mail carriers, might be just the ticket.
A little known fact about the RHD Jeeps, they were actually built to a much higher standard than your standard civilian LHD applications. Yeah, the big difference is actually not the side that the steering wheel is on! No sirree bob! The big difference is the upgraded turbo encapulator--the civilian machine had a base plate of pre-famulated amulite surmounted by a malleable logarithmic casing. The mailcarriers Jeep takes this and uses modial interaction of magneto-reluctance and capacitive diractance, which greatly increases its resale value!
IIRC, all of the RHD Wranglers were all 2wd. The problem is that nobody wants a 2wd Wrangler (but the DJ still has a following). The funny thing is that most people I know that bought a Wrangler because JEEP never use 4wd.
You should buy a few and LS swap them
Jeep hotrods!
As a Jeep fanboi, this would not bother me at all. berkeley the haters
In reply to stanger_missle:
The old mail jeeps had been 2wd. RHD TJ's came in 4wd. Jeep even listed them in the regular brochure for a few years.
I have nothing to add other than I've always dreamed of having an old mail Jeep as my parts hauler/Home Depot run truck. I don't need 4WD, but I would probably throw some snow tires on the back and use it like a big wheelbarrow around the yard.
Honestly, I might be interested depending on model/condition/blah blah blah. I'm on my 7? Jeep CJ/TJ/JK which is a 83 CJ7. I've always thought a newer model CJ with RHD would be neat and probably freak some folks out.
I'd want 4wd.

Excuse me Cliff! That would be turbo enTABulator. Let's keep our technology nomenclature straight.
I believe what Cliff here is saying is that a RHD is an easy sell.

Now that is where you are wrong my friend! It is a common misconception that it is a turbo entabulator, but when the powers that be first designed this, it was part of a top secret conglomeration between Chrysler, AMC, and Hershey Chocolate. In order to keep the whole thing under wraps, they had to change the name slightly--otherwise the Russians would have stolen the whole thing.
