The snow on the ground melted. Oh, and the sun just came out!

No gale force winds here

All things considered it could be worse I guess. Im surprised the early moring storm took it out when its survived much worse including one hurricane. I guess it was just the right angle or something. Actually seeing how shallow the root structure was for a 20+ year old tree I'm surprised it lasted this long.

Had it gone the other way, you'd need a new camper.

wait...what's that you say? That would make a good spot to park the camper...why yes, now that you mention it with the new CV in the mix things are getting a bit tight in the driveway, that would be perfect spot to park the camper! Thanks for the idea :)

That ain't the wind...that's what happens when you feed a tree Jersey water.

My day is fantastic. My 4-year-old grand daughter was released from Boston Children's Hospital after open heart surgery on Wednesday. She's making a fantastic, not to mention amazing recovery!

Great! I saw my cousin for the first time in almost a year, got to feed and pet a Kangaroo, wired in a new Kenwood head unit I was given, and accidentally added to the vintage look of my leather jacket, courtesy of Mr. Bill E. Goat. Even though the speakers I wanted were out of stock, I still picked up another pillow for my camper conversion, and everything is awesome.

Gust of wind, snowed so hard I couldn't see across the street.

A few minutes later the sun came out and the snow is all gone.

Watched F1 race then Nascar. My day was complete.

it was going perfect... right up until i took my Camaro out to test the 5 speed and custom new exhaust and got a reminder of why GM put those little clips there to hold the brake pushrod to the pedal... i lost it somewhere along the way and can't find them new, and forgot that it wasn't there until i gunned it in second gear and then tried to stop at a stop sign... had to make a quick turn and hope there wasn't a cop coming, then drove the 3 blocks back home in second gear with my hand on the parking brake..

There's not enough hours in it. Closet trim is done, just need to finish the capstone work for this week and I can start fixing the MS3.

Went for a nice long mountain bike ride on some of the world's greatest singletrack. Damn near exploded my legs. Nicest part of the year here, before the solar furnace cooks in.

But I think Gary is having a better day.

I think Gary is having the best day. I'll sacrifice all the trees in my yard to the wind gods if it allows people to have days like that :)

After that bullE36 M3 white out snowstorm yesterday, I rode the bike for the first time this year in 69 degree sun.

You might be able to just dig a hole and push that tree in it wherever you want it.

Yeah, I'm all for Gary's day.

Me, put a new Metzeler tire on the Sportster wheel, took the old Sportster Metzeler tire and put it on the Chopper wheel. Used my friend's motorcycle tire machine which made the whole job about 1/3rd the work of doing it on a board on the floor. Balanced the wheels on his wheel stand. Weather was great, in the 70's.

Its actually shocking how shallow the root structure was to begin with, Im surprised it hasnt gone over in one of the other major wind events we've had this year. Had a similar one go over in the last storm and the yard guy couldn't save it. Eh, like I said above, gives me a better place to park the camper :)

I lost a lot of tree branches, two roofing tiles and the Shell station up the road lost it's cover over the pumps. The snow did not stick around. Then Sunday at noon I bundled up and cut the grass. I love spring in Ohio.

All we missed were locusts and raining toads.

Saturday was the windy day here. But a very, very pleasant day. I spread two CY of mulch and didn't break a sweat.

Not great. Found out that when I put the intake manifold back on my wife's R350 the gasket on the drivers side is not sealing so it has to come out again so I can fix it and the weather decided to go back to winter so tonight should be fun.

i feel like i'm dying. i quit drinking sugar laden drinks cold turkey friday night, no more cokes. yesterday i was fine, today i woke up with the pounding of the "you are in severe caffeine withdrawl migraine territory" headache. i'm trying to keep some coffee down right now to shoot some caffeine to my brain to let it know to stop throbbing.

They make a medicine, I forget which one, that has a small amount of caffeine and headache medicine such as Tylenol or something.

Excedrin, but plenty of generics have it.

Excedrine Migraine? It is Tylenol, aspirin, and caffeine.
