And it really is like this here right now. T shirt weather. Expecting full sun right through the middle of next week at least. My ski hill did not even open this year, so that was a bummer but other than that it has been just a fantastic winter.

Canadians are polite, even when they're gloating.
Yup, it looks just like that here.
Gonna get the motorcycle out tomorrow!
I was running around yesterday. Left my jacket in the truck, so I was just wearing a T-shirt, too. It was 21°F. Felt downright balmy, after the sub-zero temps we've been having lately.
3-5 inches of fresh snow falling now. It's supposed to get up into the 20's this week and even a spike above freezing for a day or two.
berkeley you March. You are just like February.
On the plus side, you can shovel your driveway without a hat and face mask when it's in the 20s. That, and the warmer snow is more amenable to parking lot shenanigans disguised as driver training.
Our expected high on Wednesday: 74.

That is really stretching the search for a silver lining, eh?
Cherry blossoms have been out for three weeks here in seattle

Gotta try and find some way to not go crazy this winter...
I always get a ride in some time in March. It sure doesn't look or feel like that here right now.
Canadians say they're sorry out of habit, not because they're a polite people.

I guess it maybe depends on which part of the country you are from. Most people around here say sorry and thank you for even the small things.
Its a stark contrast to being in the states whenever I travel. So in a sense, you are right, its habit to be polite. I'd rather that then simply no politeness at all.

Yeah, 24 hours of freezing rain and 2"-4" of wet snow here in DE. We're going out anyway. Berk it.

Try the South. Please and thank you are commonly used. We beat it into our kids at a young age.
Oh, and our high for Wednesday is 78. That's not necessarily a good thing. I would much rather have winter with its 50-60s during the day and 30-40s at night.

Yep.
Long term forecast has some thawing coming in another week, but I think March will be very much a winter month. A lot of outdoor fun/activity that normally takes place in mid-March will not happen.
Im worried I won't get to take my motorcycles out or work on my car until May, at which point I graduate and am outta here

berkeley off...3' of snow in my front yard.
In reply to NOHOME:
3-5 fell today. Total 5-8 by 7am tomorrow. There is snow in the forecast every day this week except Thursday. Thursday is freezing rain. Yay.
We are trying to figure how much longer we can make our ice race season.
I wore a T shirt today.

Yes, I usually mean the east/west coasts and northern USA. As far as I am concerned, the southern USA is not the same thing as the rest!
The fishing tournament my kayak club runs every year started today.
There is still ice on the lakes, but, the high on Wednesday is supposed to be in the 70s, but it is going to be raining. Then, just in time for the weekend, it is supposed to plummet down again.
The silver lining I am taking away is that maybe some mosquitoes will wake up and get flash frozen again. That might buy me a week or so once the weather really starts to warm up.

Point taken, most Canadians IN Canada seem alright.
Hell, I do most of my autocrossing in BC.
But the ones who come to the states to pillage our stores?
Nope nope nope. Buncha shiny happy people.
My fine friends from the even more frozen and polite North, it is with the utmost respect and regard that I humbly ask you to please go berkeley yourselves softly and with great care.
