Been busting butt on the challenge car, trying to sell our house, and fixing/moving junk (and acquiring new junk! Ranchero). Anyone else beat from challenge prep yet or is this just me?

Well then take le nap....
THEN FIRE ZE MISSILES!!!!!
I'm not busting towards the challenge, rather busting to beat the cold and snow around here so I get what you're saying. Next year!
This is why we started next year's car this past summer. We probably could have killed ourselves and made it this year, but this E36 M3 is supposed to be FUN. not soul sucking and exhaustive.
Ive busted my ass for a week straight every evening. Ive finally eliminated all the i knowns and i know im ahead of the curve, but it is still a roda to het challenge ready.
I see the light at the end of the tunnel. This year was supposed to be a drive and race year, not a build almost from scratch year, but the car dictated differently.
More upset that i had to rebuild a car that was essentially done and in turn not get my impala done
I was beat before I even started working on my Challenge car, so I bought a different car a month ago. Finally put the charged up battery in it and drove it around the parking lot at work for the first time tonight. Still have a solid week and a half to get everything figured out. Should I buy a nitrous kit still? Not sure when the lawn is supposed to get mowed when I'm out of the house 14 hours a day.

How does this not have more likes yet?!!!!!!
I've put 10k miles on the challenge Quest since it's purchase 4 months ago.
I'm pulling it off the road tomorrow for some needed cosmetic attention and a little minor preventive maint.
She ain't awesome but she'll be there in Gainesville.
I wish I was tired from working on a challenge car. Rather, I'm tired from work, showing up at 5am today to get this damn project finished this week and make our deadline. Strong chance I'll be in bright and early tomorrow as well. This on top of all the painting and other little projects going on at home in the new house.

Goat.
We are not beat by any means, just "beat." Still have paint work, exhaust, intake, (redacted), body work, and mounting the seat!

Just need to take it one day at a time. Make a list of goals so it can feel good knocking things off of it everyday.
Tired? Just getting over (mostly) from the worst case of flu I ever had. Of course I generously shared with my wife who is 3 days behind me. Getting ready to move in a month, yard sale tomorrow, client coming from Jamaica to our disaster of a house today. Ready to find a hole to climb into and go to sleep. Oh yeah, the coughing all night makes a good sleep impossible.

The best part of cold season was coming home and having a sack of White Castles and a cold glass of NyQuil.
