It's funny here in the US they are something only bad guys and crazies need. If you shoot without one in western Europe you're an shiny happy person.
Same with hunting air guns.

This thread, along with considering a shotgun purchase with tax returns, has me thinking in depth on the subject. I like this gun and I'm glad it exists, but an 8 shot with a more vertical/conventional pistol grip gives you 2 more rounds and is maybe 3" longer LOA.

IIRC you need something in a subsonic .22 to be "silenced". I haven't heard it, but I was told by someone who has heard it that you mostly hear air. Not "quiet air", but more like an airsoft or maybe paintball.

M26 MASS, available as an M16/M4 attachment (think M203 but a shotgun instead of grenade launcher) and standalone. I know that the civilian AOW version, M26-PDW-M1, is available as a pistol, but every picture of the standalone mil version I've seen has had a stock on it, not that I've seen that many nor do I have any military experience.
C-More does show the mil version on their website in Wrist breaker configuration though:
It is sad that there are so many rules and misconceptions around suppressors... They make all firearms more enjoyable for the shooter and anyone around them.
Most NFA rules are stupid beyond all reason and should be dissolved.
