Everybody knows about Florida's beaches, but we've got some really beautiful backroads, too. During our stormy afternoon I snapped a few pics, but I wish I was a better photographer!

Anyone else addicted to finding deserted, curvy roads? Got pics?
Steve
deserted roads? In New Jersey?
Is that the area south of Orlando (Haines City, etc..)?

Yes sir. Skyline Drive and Bear Mountain (?). I went up there one day with some folks. It was beautiful.
"Nuclear Miata" is a great pic!
After my date with cardboard and a carport ,rt.6 to the bear mountian bridge is always the perfect night cap . If you make it past the wall the metro north guys will find you in the morning - you might be ok they start at 7]
Grew up in the foothills of the "Dandenongs" in Victoria, now I live in Ohio where you can see 100 miles ahead of you while cruising. I so miss those nice rambling rides through the mountains.
We have a couple of curvy back roads here in AL but not as many as there were in the Carolinas when I lived there.

It's the roads around the orange groves and ranches south of Sebring and Zolfo Springs. Rare unknown roads in an overcrowded state!

Yep, I get lucky every once in a while with a snapshot. "Nuclear Miata" because of the radioactive symbol on the front of the car.
You know, there's nothing like a sportscar or motorcycle on a nice country backroad. I thought for sure that other people would chime in with some cool photos...

Hey aussie, that's where I live at the moment. Here's some crappy, unexciting, in-car footage I whipped up to accompany my Ebay ad. The surrounds ought to look familiar to you, though - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eTXIBQtJGHc
Mt.Dandenong roads are excellent, but you have to chose your times wisely, else you end up stuck behind a peleton of lycra-clad cyclist types, or some dawdling tourist in a rented Hyundai.
