Idiots please post in here

Hi Marjorie,

I posted this topic here because the forum has the most well-balanced group of folks that I’ve found on the ‘net, and hoped to approach the discussion from an angle outside of politics.  Like many, I’m at a loss of how to address violence outside my immediate sphere of influence, whether the violence source is domestic, sexual, mass shootings, or otherwise.  

Recognizing that this was not the right forum (no pun intended) for this discussion, I’ll take my questions to my local elected officials to see what they’re proposing to overcome our challenges.  I’ll keep up with the car discussion in the magazine.

Mitchell, this is not the first time you have violated explicit forum rules by introducing a political discussion with the "let's not get political about this" caution/disclaimer. This IS the last time I'll have to moderate one of these threads, whether that's by your choice or mine. I would prefer it be the former, but dude, I got a business to run, so one it will be.
