Been a pretty intense 2-3 years. Last two have been with a Porsche Cup team in IMSA. Saw multipe crashes and track side rebuilds. Rebuilt, or "tubbed" about 5 991 Cup cars in the last two years. Highlight for me came last year when my driver won his class at the Montreal GP as we were the support race. Other than that, just alot of Club racing, alot of "PRO" (IMSA) racing, some WRL stuff (which is actually alot of fun!).
If I have a way of uploading pictures, i'll try to provide some memories with you ladies and gents..

Pics can now be uploaded directly to the board. No additional hosting needed.
When you write a post, see all those icons at the top? The first one is a B for bold. There is a square box that is supposed to be a picture of the sun and a mountain. Click that box. Choose Upload and then follow the prompts to find the picture on your phone or computer.

HAHAHAHAHA!!! He's around, still doin his drag racing thing with Fox Bodies. I haven't seen him or his antics at a track in atleast 5 years.
I may present to you, the newest relative to Fogger Jr; The Gestapo!
I worked with him on a BMW team back in 2017. He likes to think of himself as the "Lead Mechanic". He would put the portible brake lathes on the little M235iR's (which have floating front rotors) so he can "lighten" rotors about a pound... on a 3400 pound race car...
He would also just toss the scale pads down on the ground, unbolt and remove the ARB end links, corner weight the car, bolt the end links back on without zero'ing them out, then proceed to doing a "setup" (camber and toe, which affects ride heights and corner weights). When I approached him to tell him it was an incorrect procedure, I was told "you don't know what youre talking about!"
I have endless stories about THE GESTAPO. Ranging from zipping in and out of traffic in Austin in the rent car and almost rear ending a cop, to him trying to bomb the hill at Laguna Seca from the Corkscrew to the paddock and him eating ****!
Who the berkeley are you? Oh wait, what I mean to say was welcome back.
As for what did you miss? Well, you missed Abe Vigoda....oh, never mind.

SwankForceOne? GPS???
Let's see, Tom bought a truck and sold the van to Pete. Darth Nader was sold to Stampie but is being built by Dusterbd. The Nelsons keep building fast things. The free Europa is getting built. We talk a lot about autocross classes but more people seem to talk than actually drive. They made me a moderator which is weird but now I can ban you which is a nice power to have, just in case. That whole picture thing direct to the board works. We can also embed videos on and off. Not sure if it's working now or not. I'm pretty bad at being a moderator. The word Grosh has become a thing which I find even weirder than the moderator bit but my kid is proud of inventing a word so that's nice. All in all there is more the same than different. Still the best place on the internet.
Let's see:
Amy? Were you still here for Amy?
We are unable to agree (despite several tries) what a hatchback is and whether autocross is racing.
jfryjfry is a Hollywood stunt driver.
Miata is still the answer to every question.
Sadly, we lost some long term members over the past couple years.
This is still the best place on the internet.
That pretty much brings you up to speed. Welcome back!
Angry is having a midlife crisis and there may be impotence involved, possibly from sniffing brake friction materials for so long
