You missed a bunch of people doing weird E36 M3 to weird automobiles.
This years Challenge sub-class is Radwood.
There is a V-12 being stuffed in a Ferrari 308 in the build section.
I proposed to SWMBO in front of a B-29. I was homeless for 2 months, then unemployed for 2 months. Found a new job, set the wedding date, bought a house, and started my most important project of my life: I'm building a kid!
E36 M3 moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.
Not sure when you left, but here's a brief rundown for me:
and that's about it for me
In reply to mazdeuce - Seth :
and I'm still telling everyone to buy Korean cars and some people have actually listened. That is weird too.

Dude! This is incredible! It was obvious there were some dark times for awhile, and I was happy that lately it has seemed better but had no idea you'd really been putting the pieces back together like this.
There was a pop up charity taco bar at challenge this past year. Patrick wrangled it, I covered a lot of the logistics. The tacos were awesome, and last I heard he raised something like a g-bar for charity. Not bad when you've got me involved.
WOW!!!
I guess I've missed out on a bunch! Glad to hear so many hardships have been dealt with and overcome as well as exciting news of different events.
Wheres Aussie? He still have Mongo? I know Brad is doing his thing with Radwood. Ill supply more stories once i have more coffee down my neck
In reply to DukeOfUndersteer :
Aussie just got engaged(you probably didn't know he got divorced several years ago?). He's not been very active on here or has done much with cars lately, but I think he posted on here once a few months ago.
Welcome back my dude!
Some of us (including myself) switched a while back to our real names. I was Silverfleet. I had a silver fleet of vehicles at the time I made the name, but since I didn't anymore, I ditched the name. I also started writing as a side gig, and I do freelance stuff mostly for BangShift.com and I've even had a few stories publish here with GRM!
Some other things:
-A lot of people bought old pickup trucks, including myself. Why? Uhhh... I have no idea, because they are cool, I guess? Check the build thread section for those.
-The Patio still gets fresh concrete every once in a while. Beware!
-You probably shouldn't talk about buying Hondas or having them serviced from Hennessey Honda of Woodstock.
-We still hotlink images. A lot.
-We did sadly lose some people along the way. They are sorely missed.
Again, welcome back!

Frenchyd is (has become) the worlds biggest chearleader for V12 jag engines, and hates anything Small Block Chevy.
2019 witnessed the first time ever a Jaguar competed in the Challenge (there were actually 2!) and both were supercharged V8's
I finally made some forward progress on my LS swapped TR4:
Welcome Back!
Welcome back!!
The forum itself has undergone some evolution. The builds section of the forum is the best place on the best automotive forum there is. Beware, it'll take you about half as long as you've been gone to catch up on them. Once you start, it'll be hard to stop..
In reply to bluej :
I was about to say, where'd my favorite section "$2000 Challenge Classifieds" go? That was awesome!

Same sorts of stuff is here, just broken down by parts or car, not $$
Wrecked my spine, recovered just in time to have a kid, bought an F500/Fmod (with wife's full consent when my son was 6 months old). Got my bugeye Sprite driving just to tear it's suspension apart for upgrades before getting it tagged.
