I am not boring, you're boring. You know what's boring, sitting there playing that mind numbing game.

I liked it - but I am on record as being annoyed by comic book superhero movies taking themselves too seriously. (I'm talking to you Logan)
Even the blue dude murdering an entire ship full of mutinous crew was not a brutal gore fest. FWIW, that is the coolest magical weapon in all of storytelling to date.
It was fun, a little silly, a little funny and a good way to pass a rainy afternoon with my son.

I believe that's the whole point. I mean, come on, "Star Lord"? The whole point of the characterization is that he's forcing it. You can't help but like him despite that, or at least I can't.
Saw it this weekend, at the drive in, for my birthday, with a delicious pizza in the car. So. Much. Fun.
Rocket is super hilarious, and Bautista's humor is perfect. Soundtrack was great. I was hoping for better easter eggs. Most of the cuts were just comedy, not really alluding to anything to come in the MCU. But, overall: Great movie, would watch again.
Went to see it Friday night with TM and the girls. We had a great time. Snappy dialogue, good pacing, funny gags, hideously ugly Mantis. The movie had it all. I enjoy the Marvel Universe far more than the D.C. one so far, but we have high hopes for Wonder Woman.
(Tiger Mom is virtually frothy at the bit to see that one!)

Really, truly? Most of the time, 3D doesn't add much for me, and usually detracts.
The action scenes are definitely better in 3D and that's good enough for me. There are only a few other scenes where the 3D stands out. It's not in-your-face, stab-you-in-the-eyes stuff.

The women of my family are also eager for Wonder Woman, and I agree that she's DC's last hope.
Christian Bale's Batman was okay but not great, the rest have been totally forgettable.
