I like Takuma Sato. The fact that a Japanese driver is teamed up with Texan A.J. Foyt makes him even more interesting. Yeah, he might be a tad wild at times, but he's fun to watch and gets things done or wrecks trying.
I agree. He's nothing if not fun. He carved up those Penskes like nothing at the start of Saturday's race.

Fun for the fans but there are probably more than a few drivers and owners who wish he'd stop driving like it's 1945 and he's defending Okinawa.
Not sure where else to put this. Max Chilton is going to be racing at LeMans this weekend, so Carlin Motorsport at putting Nelson Piquet Jr in his Indy Lights seat for the Toronto round. This will be interesting. While Chilton isnt' exactly grade 'A' talent, I had expected him to do better than he has so far this year in Lights. With only 12 regular runners I was expecting consistent podiums from him if not wins. It will be interesting to see how Piquet does. He's been doing pretty well in Formula E so far and there is no lack of talent in that field.
So a former Renault driver is going to be on an Indy Lights team this weekend?
The lesson here is- do not intentionally crash to help you team mate. Puts you on the D list of drivers.

No, the lesson is don't be a whinny cry baby bitch and throw your team under a bus in an effort to bribe and curry favor. I'm not condoning what Flav, Renault and co. did, but how he handled himself burnt all his bridges in F1. After that he couldn't even have bought a drive like Chilton did for a couple of years.
My favorite quote about Piquet Jr
'He's a modern day Ancient Mariner.'
Perfect

And just to brag, this was my view of the Indy race in Dallas this weekend. First Indy race for both my son and I and we watched it from the double (once owned by Ross Perot) Sunoco suite. Plus, access to the pits where we watched them start warming up the cars and got to meet and talk to Josef Newgarden.
Although it was awesome, I'm afraid we're ruined now if we ever go to another race!!
