Our local Car Club is a Non Profit and owns a Van that is used to haul cones. It seems like this would be an avenue you could take.

I'm just curious who the poor fish is that's going to do all the deferred maintenance and replace the knocked off mirrors, and find it when it gets parked in the wrong town or left at the airport, who is going to pay the photo radar tickets, and who is going to be the final say when three people all want it the same day?
I ask because I'd end up being that guy...

Yeah, I think it's all something we could sort out. There is already buildings and land owned in common here. That said, conflicts do happen.
@Curtis, thanks I like that idea. I'll try calling a few places. I'd rather not form a non profit for this, but I might have to.
@Streetwiseguy: The maintenance costs will likely be shared. Tickets, not sure about that yet. I'm guessing that person will have to pay the extra cost in the insurance. For reservations, it will be first come first serve.
That's all just conjecture though. Exactly how all of that is done, I don't know yet. We're still in the early phases of exploring this.
I appreciate the questions as I want to consider all of the angles on this.
