I dunno if it counts since it was not done on a bike but I just came back from a trip.
1022miles in 24hours.
Trip was 1111 miles total.
Great trip and quite scenic. I want my patch now haha

Nope. Doesn't count. We once lived exactly 1002.3 miles away from one of our kids in Ohio. Made that trip straight more than a few times. Only once on the Kaw. Made doing it in a cage seem like a Sunday drive. Best time was on the bike, though. Probably because the wife and her three teaspoon bladder didn't go. But even saving over an hour, it still hurt more. The trip back, I took the full 23 hours and 45 minutes. If someone has an Iron Butt patch on the jacket, you better respect it.

Oh hell no.
Oh, and btw, 1002.3 miles on an '81 GPz 1100 took 16 hours. Doing 1022 miles in 24 hours in a cage is bullE36 M3. See, guys? I figured out the wirtydord filter!
1000m/24h doesn't count, even a little bit.
Last summer, a buddy and I rode 1006 miles around Lake Michigan in 22+ hours. We still haven't sent the paperwork in to the IBA.

It counts as a very poor attempt at one-upmanship.
