This board once alerted me when Maiden added a show to a U.S. tour, so I feel like I should return the favor. Pre-sale (fan club) tickets for both Florida shows went on sale this morning. So far, those are their only two U.S. dates scheduled for 2011. Details and stuff: http://www.ironmaiden.com/index.php?categoryid=15
Pity, wrong side of the country.
I'd love to go, but they'll never come close to me. Ah well.

There's a hugh date-gap in April-May, so hopefully more dates will be announced... I really would like to see them one last time before they quit touring.
Two US dates - whats up with that??? They put on the best live shows - even my wife who is convinced I should have out grown heavy metal by now was impressed by the last show we went to.

My guess is they haven't been scheduled yet. There's a big gap between the FL dates and the next dates back in Europe.
Fingers crossed.

Huge Maiden fan here.
I saw them the last time they came to the Boston area. It was the "Somewhere Back In Time" tour, and they didn't play anything beyond the Fear of the Dark album. It was awesome.
We had outdoor seating, and the weather was pretty bad. There was a huge thunderstorm toward the beginning of their set, and there was lots of lightning. I remember thinking to myself that if I get struck by lightning at a Maiden show, that it would be a truly legendary (and totally Metal) way to die.

I wonder if they'll add more U.S. dates since they did a partial American tour last summer. They skipped the entire Southeast, so we flew to New York to see them. It was totally worth it. Hopefully they do add more U.S. dates.
Personally, I celebrate the man's entire catalog

I still need to listen to the new CD a few more times... and I still listen to the older stuff quite a bit, but I have to say my favorite is Dance of Death. So while I'm sure I would have enjoyed the Somewhere Back in TIme show (I did buy the DVD), part of me would have been disappointed.
I like the new CD. Need to spend some more time listening to it.
Hopefully they will have a show in the Philly area again sooner or later. I was wondering if just the two US shows were to allow them some vacation time in Florida.
Got an e-mail that Rush is starting up their tour again. Hershey show goes on pre-sale tomorrow.
I just got that e-mail about the Rush tour, too. I missed their Central Florida gig since it conflicted with the $2010 Challenge. Is it worth driving to South Florida to see them? Maybe.
And I was apprehensive about the later Maiden, but I have been really happy. I'd put Brave New World up there with the classics. Honestly, I'm also digging the new one, too. See the video for the title track? Very cool.

Rule #1: Don't piss off Eddie.
And keeping our concert thing going, just purchased tickets to see the Misfits. I should have them sign my 138 number panels.

I'm about 2.5 sheets to the wind. That guys voice? I'd choke a puppy to silence him right now.
