I hate to start these types of topics, but sheeeesh, talk about not contributing at all, along with being an outrageously shiny happy person.
I apologize if I missed that this already happened.

I have a theory. I think that senor hives was canned from Miata.net for being less than cordial with the majority of members there. A Google search probably tagged this place as the place to go for Miatas, and he ended up here, continuing said behavior. Outside of the Duckbilled Miata thread (Which I actually kinda like) I haven't seen much of him TBQH. Lucky me I suppose?
I was wondering if he was a new incarnation of a certain long-term troll, trying out a new persona...
I spend time at miata.net, too, and have not run across djhives, though I have run across Wowak there.
[edit] Sorry, I didn't mean to equate Wowak and djhives above. I was obliquely referring to a certain poster whose original username and posting style are frequently the same.

Don't think so - he's way more troll-y than the other fella you're referencing.

Possible, but my spidey sense says no.
Edit-the duckbill Miata is nice, but if it is Wowak, he is doing a pretty good job of pretending to have lost lots of his Miata knowledge and skill. I think it's just an angry Miata.netter who doesn't realize that screaming at everybody isn't the way to gain info.
Based on some of the responses we've seen from djhives, it really tempers whatever opinion he got from miata.net. And I'm not really joking- basically, he took offense at any opinion directed against him, which seems to be most if not all of the group. Especially based on this forum.
So now he's off at a new place, bashing both miata.net and GRM for being sheeple.
Oh, well. The only think that would be cool here is if I could ignore him- which I'm not sure how to do. (ignore- as in not seeing his threads- I know I can just ignore him... )
He's not said other person. Google search "djhives" and "djhives miata" and it all becomes clear.
djhives is a hatemonger and has many racist traits.

I was kind of thinking it might be a "you ain't seen nuthin yet" thing. But it's just my suspicious mind. I wish I had admin priveleges here so I could do a fast IP check...
Wait, Wowak was a troll? Wasn't he the guy with the BRG/yellow Miata whose house got flooded in Memphis a few years back? Or am I conflating two past posters here?

D'oh! My apologies for the confusion. I didn't mean to equate Wowak and djhives. Rereading I realize I was heavily ambiguous about that. I was thinking a more recent GRM troll.

Sorry, see above. Though Wowak did have the world's largest chip on his shoulder regarding law enforcement officers and authority figures in general, and bordered on trollishness on that subject.

That's a long time for said person to "cover up" his "real" identity. djhives has been around for a loooooooooong time, and you'd think your suspect would have let it slip at some point that he has a book out, and that said book was banned by Amazon.

I just checked that out.
You know, for all the comments so and so made about certain aspects of how he chose to live his life, seems odd he'd own a Miata.

ROFL!!!
In reply to mndsm:
Probably nothing repressed there that a good psychiatrist couldn't help him with.

If I read that correctly, that's the normal tuesday discussion on Miata.net.

I believe it was Nashville, but yeah, that's the guy. He was opinionated about certain topics, but I never found him to be troll-ish.

Heh, they aren't talking about Wowak. A more recent one that went off the deep end in a political thread or two.
Trolls are people too. Plus their superhuman strength and their ability to guard bridge underpasses make them very usefull for the impending zombie apocalypse.
I am just saying.
