Is Google busted or something?

Lately (past few days) I can't surf to anything associated with Google. The pages just try to load but nothing pops up. I can use other search engines to find places no problem, so I guess my computer and the internet are fine.

I even did a quick check of online news looking for headlines like,"OMFG GOOGLE ASPLODE!" Nothing.

Anybody else having this, or is it my problem? I can't think why an ISP or antivirus program would block Google.

I had a virus on my computer which would hijack Google (and only Google) a while ago. Didn't do exactly what you described though.

no, but as of yesterday afternoon, google looks like i turned on the big fonts, like if i don't see so well. but its only the search page, gmail and maps are fine, as well as every other page on the internets

Are you getting a 404 error or just a blank page?

Same for me. Not a bad thing in my case.

try clearing out your cache/cookies?

seems to be working fine here... although I did see gmail go down for like the 3rd time in the 5 years i'd been using it... it of course had to be while I was doing tech support for a company who uses Gmail for their email system doh (renamed and slightly different but still gmail based)

it's working fine for me, but the same as you have.... the larger fonts ....

Weird it happened to my dad's computer where you could do a google search and the page would load but nothing came up. After putting antivirus and updating the computer it doesn't happen any more. Weird though.
