I love fall, most of the humidity is gone and being in east TN things tend to get pretty.
I had to check out a job this morning and the reds and yellow were really popping. I took some pictures with my phone but it did a great job of making everything look bland and brown. I'll post them anyway but trust me it was much better looking in person.
So who else likes fall?
I hate it... means winter is coming. Sorry, but I -like- heat and humidity
I have been really enjoying the fall in TN too. The colors are great and the temperature is good. Just wish it didn't get dark by the time I get home.
Ugh, I hate hate hate heat and humidity. I guess there is enough room in this country for us to disagree but I will never understand you people

Love fall. I had the bike out today. It was a little brisk this morning a 35 degrees, but the ride home was phenomenal (for a commute)
Leaves have been gone for weeks. It snowed today.
Fall is ok. HATE winter.

Like fall, but always have the lurking dread of the winter unpleasantness that inevitably follows.
Here's a few from around here over the last few weeks (all on film, BTW, and no post-processing except for dust removal).
I love all weather except humidity.
I enjoy fall up here in the Pacific Northwest, but I find the leaves to be best viewed from a distant. They're absolutely beautiful when on a scenic backroad; when I'm raking my yard for the umpteenth time this season and the trees are still thick with leaves, not so much.

your profile says you're in Urbana, IL ... have you moved down here to our lovely mountains ?
In reply to wbjones:
Yup, only temporarily though. I go school at the University of Illinois in Urbana but right now I am working a fulltime co-op/internship from August to December. Beats the hell out of cornfields.

Funny story - I went kayaking last weekend. I wanted to use a pool noodle cut in half to use as a cushion between the kayak and my Jeep's windshield frame. I went to Walmart where I couldn't find anything I could use. I grabbed a nearby associate to see what was up.
Me: "Where are all of your pool noodles at? You guys usally have a box of them around here."
Associate: "Oh, we moved all of that stuff out because it's out of season."
Me: "!?!. It's 88° outside lady! How is it out of season?!"
Associate: "We are getting ready for Christmas."
Me:
