The problems in snow always seem to come when people hit the brakes. ABS doesn't really work too well in snow. And that nitroglycerin idea is a good one (just the driving like there is one, not actually having one)
I still need to rig up a kill switch for the ABS when it snows for my Saab. I even touch the brakes, I can feel it modulating. Sometimes you WANT the wheels to lock and start pushing snow
