I aquired this board, my first, in 1983 from my friend Jeremy. He got it by responding to an advertisement in Thrasher. I try to ride it at least once per winter.
That is wicked cool!! (And probably worth some coin nowdays)
Sorry to see that he's shuffled off his mortal coil. Never owned a Burton (they were always too expensive for me), but he sure was a pioneer.

My second board was a Burton Performer Elite 150 . this Cruiser 165 was my brother's around 1987. I rode it quite a bit in the late 80s. At that time I was riding the first Burton Air 165.
