Did anybody see this? I saw it was the next show up after Top Gear last weekend, but havent seen it yet. He gets to do alot of cool stuff only i could dream of, like taking a Veryon to its top speed or going up in a U2 spy plane to see the curviture of the Earth...

Not "probably", definitely the most technically savvy. He's the one that actually wrenches on the cars when the chips are down.

While true, that doesn't necessarily make him a faster driver. Like most things on Top Gear, I'm sure his "slowness" is exaggerated, but being good with a wrench and being a fast driver are two different things.
Anyhow, I dl'd this earlier today and will watch it at my earliest opportunity.

Also, his being a pilot might go along with the personality for being "slow". There's a saying: "There are old pilots, and there are bold pilots; but there are no old bold pilots."
Being a good pilot involves a lot of patience and taking time to evaluate things before making a decision.
