Guy I bought my Colony Park from rescued a three legged Lab from a farm town. She had belonged to a retired woman and was spoilied until she passed. Her son would go by once a day to giver her food and water and let her out, but left her there becuase she was "useless."

Once he got her she very quickly re-adapted to living the good life. Some burglars found out the hard way her leg did not slow her at all.

He moved back to Cali, earlier this year was a picture of him and his three legged lab in Pacific on FB. Great dog

I had a dog with no legs named cigarette. I was always taking him out for a drag.

My folks had a Springer Spaniel that was hit by a car when he was a pup and lost a front leg. Once he acclimated you'd hardly know, as he ran circles around most other dogs.......although the changing of direction wasn't so easy.

It's pretty amazing how animals adapt. He led a very pampered 13 year life, with little problems due the the missing limb.
