I got called in for a multiple child molestation case. They pulled in a LOT of people for that one (it could have gone on for weeks). I was VERY thankful to get excused for that one!
Another time I got called in I never made it to questioning. One lawyer was asking potential jurors "do you think the fact that someone is arrested for a crime makes it more likely he is guilty?". My answer would have been to the effect of "Duh!"

Epilogue: bossette picked up my time sheet today for last week just before I left. On the way home I got a text "Do you want to use vacation time for last week? If you use 10 hours I'll pay the other 10". Something something making America "great" again or some bullE36 M3.

I just missed the Joseph Duncan trial for my grand jury tour.
Considering that he raped a small child to death and videotaped it all ,I am very thankful I missed it. We were told that the previous grand jury had to watch "hours" of tape on this too.
The guy is trying to get free still last I looked even though he's been let out again and again before this and did the sane thing
