From the research I've done, they don't care. If their name isn't already going to be on the check (it will be in our case) they might step in to make that happen.

I think there are a few things at play. First I think they are just plane busy. I get that. Second is that they don't think our house has any water damage because when they came the first time, the spot was really small, AND the adjuster never came inside. Had he come inside he might have seen the damage. Had he gone in the attic, they'd have seen the damage for sure. Third, they are truly out to srew you. There's no other explanation. They haven't been to our house to have a look at the damage so they can dispute it intelligently.
