anyone here get a wild streak while cutting their lawn, imagine some roadcourse laid upon said lawn, and proceed to hoon about on the riding lawnmower like it's a 1900s-1930s GP racer? if you haven't, it's wonderful good fun and a great excuse to look for engine swaps for the lawnmower to lower your lap times - uh, I mean cut the grass more efficiently

No but I've done strange patters, wavy lines, spirals and the like.

I've done a starburst from the tree that is more or less in 1/3 of the front yard.

now, extension of this question: is it weird that this hoonage has made me want a small off-road gokart/dune buggy thing more than actually seeing dune buggies and off road karts?

or... get a half-scale Porsche 356 body, build my own chassis, and hide a lawnmower cutting deck under it, and stuff the back end full of a small 2wd utility quad engine/CVT, then drive the mower blades with an electric motor, or fab up some sort of PTO. no longer a riding lawnmower, a driving lawnmower

Hm. Canoes really like Isuzu's with superchargers apparently.
