Welcome to the board!
Don't worry, hanging around here will have you weaned off that "most sensible" nonsense in no time. That's what you're here for right?

Shouldn't we have a filter word for 'sensible' by now? And 'reasonable,' while we're at it?

ok admittedly the tribute is a bore. but really mine is while sensible awfully fun too. in the past ive had a klze swapped egt. a flyingmiata stroker powered miata, a rb30/rd25det hybrid 200sx, a supercharged 6.8 f-150, bpd powered mx3, 302 volvo 240 coupe. and do plan on building a lotus 7 in the future powered by a duratec 3.0. sensible doesnt normally enter my thought process.

Do tell.....
What route did you take? Have details or a build thread? I'm actually currently building a KLZE EGT, strangely enough.
Welcome!
I am surprised at the civility displayed thus far in this thread. Way to go boys!
As for KATYB, welcome to the sickness, I will be your tourguide. Stay away from John Brown, and if Margie asks you to dig a hole in her back yard in order to extend her patio, use the whistle we have provided you. (stick around long enough, and you will understand)
Hey now! KATYB, If you need me I will be with Wally at the ice cream bar.
We need pics of those cars, otherwise welcome to the dark side, we will enable your darkest desires....err automotively

Welcome aboard. Unusual is good. We welcome any and all that are willing to worship at the alter of Miata Goodness.
Just remember, regardless of what you think you need in your next car purchase, Miata always the answwr.
Some of the things discussed here end up sounding like a badly translated movie, but after a while you'll swap words out just like the "Filter" does....
Consider it a secret handshake or Little Orphan Annie decoder ring !
Hope the seats are comfortable, settle in and blow the wheels off it. Sensible just left but it will be back later when Tom shows up. Surf and enjoy!

Welcome!
If you would like to skip a few steps and jump to the head of the line, just post up a pic of you in a Miata with bacon in one hand and a gun in the other.

i do not have pictures but. i did use an mx6 transmission and i want to say a msp diff but cant remember 100% mounts were 100% solid steel made up as the build happened- mx3 wiring harness and mx3 subframe and control arms(rumor was it was 15mm in track added not sure if this was the case) mx3 ecm with afc. 255lph fuel pump. radiator was a custom unit that i mounted on the front side of radiator support (wierd i know) i used 2 10 inch fans one that came on at 180 and one at 190 radiator hoses were reallly just aluminum pipes welded up to fit and useing 3 inch sections of hose to connect to rad and block. yes i did still maintain having working ac.
pictures and me do not happen. not of me and very very rarely of my cars. heck we have less than 40 pics of both out kids.
jfx-mmmmmmmmmmm bacon!!!!!!!
