A British teenager who painted an 18-metre penis on the roof of his parents' $2 million mansion has been exposed one year after he completed the mischievous artwork.
Although the kid sounds like a spoiled little douchebag, this is still awesome.
And who has a flat roof like that, anyway? It's just asking for aerial-visible, genitalia-themed graffiti.

I like the bit about the heli pilot flying people over so they could take photos. I can just imagine this guy hawking tours on a busy street somewhere. "Come see, the Giant Schlong of Berkshire! Step right up, only fifty quid!"
Come to think of it, the fact that this house is in Berkshire makes it even better.
There should be a superbad quote in here somewhere

Man....I had an 8th grade verbal vomit flashback:

I can't explain.
People around the SF bar area have flat roofs and they are totally stupid. During the winter you get a little pond on your roof.
Almost everybody in my neighborhood (York PA) has a flat roof*. It was a late '20s thing, perhaps...
*Except for the absence of genitalia, of course...Hey, and size matters.

My God--he must be an insufferable little prick (no pun). While it's mildly funny, the fact that he is that ungrateful for what he has really grinds my gears.

I read once that there is a Japanese festival devoted exclusively to the celebration of the phallis. The highlight of the festival is a parade of a giant "dong" through the streets of the city.

Go York!
There is a painting right outside the door of my office that I swear has one painted right into it. All of the paintings here appear to be nonsensical--there really are no images: just paint swirls. But this one makes me laugh every time I walk by it. I think that if somebody took a bit of a closer look at it when they were buying paintings, they probably would have passed on it.

Not only does this not surprise me, I think I've heard of it. The Japanese do have some interesting cultural practices.
There is a barn on Hwy 82 near Aspen that has a huge middle finger painted on it. A guy painted it years ago as a "greeting" for his exwife who drives past every day.

Actually, that celebration is in honour of my visit to Japan.

I am sure the kid did it so he could see it from Google Earth.

It's an Eastern thing...
North Korea keeps threatening to shoot its Taepo-dong missle at Japan (maybe because the Japanese keep pointing that big one at 'em)
The unit of currency of Vietnam is the dong. Don't know what smaller divisions are called...

Hmm. You think you can? I bet you could if the satelite took a picture during that time, but I'm willing to be the maps haven't been updated in a long time.
I thought about doing something like that--do something that the whole world can see from space. I'll call it SatalArt.

It has been on the roof for a year now. How often is Google Maps updated?
He had a little more room up there, wonder why he stopped short? Oh, right. He's a little prick.
