I know, right? The list is quite extensive.
In reply to Appleseed :
Normally I'd agree with you. Here's another (maybe still questionable) source:

There was a report on the radio of a Helicopter crash and fire in Malibu a couple of hours ago ,
Sorry to here it was Kobe
RIP
Anyone else find the combo of it being Kobe and a helicopter crash weird? Kinda surreal?
Maybe it's just that I wouldn't expect him to die for a while, and when I think of copter crashes I think of military, police, firefighters, and maybe utility workers?

IIRC more NASCAR drivers died in helicopter crashes than racing in the past few decades.
Also, Colin McRae.
I keep saying it, small aircraft are the rich man's only natural predator. If you have money and stay away from those, you'll practically live forever. May soon have to expand that to include spacecraft.
RIP.

That didn't age well.
The bastards have a knack for getting it first.

When I get hideously wealthy, I'm going to travel exclusively via C5 Galaxy

I drive past Dover AFB regularly. Those things crash too...
Everyone talks about how safe flying is, but that really only applies to flying airlines not small planes. Small planes are exponentially more dangerous than airlines.

You should do the opposite. Tmz is stupid reliable. Abc and a bunch of others were saying all the daughters were killed. Tmz was the first to say it was his 13 year old daughter. They may be complete trash, but they are almost always right when it comes to tragedies.

Davey Allison still hurts, he was my favorite driver as a kid. Jr had a scare recently with a private jet.

They say airlines are safer than cars, but that's in comparison to "# of deaths / miles driven by all drivers" not "# of deaths / miles driven by YOU."
