We have a bat eared pit mix rescue too. We got her at supposedly 6 weeks but she was probably younger. They thought she was a staffordshire based on the male dog that they suspected of schtooking the mom.  We have wondered what she is mixed with, probably a mix similar to Wednesday. She is "Weezy Peezy"

our other pit mix rescue mutt is more pit-ish. And got the opposite ears, total flops.  She is "Millie-Moo"

We'd never seen a bat-eared pit (or rather, not known that was what they were and not a different mix...) before we saw the rescue post a picture of Wednesday, we'd always either seen them with cropped ears or floppy ones. Wednesday's are endless fun to watch... they kind of default to folded back flat but pop up when she is interested in something- it's adorable. Now if only she wasn't incredibly stubborn and occasionally completely manic (or, in other words, a pit puppy...).

Weezy, the bat eared dog we have, is way more of a spaz. And her ears also are always moving.
Flop eared Millie is our emotional potato. Very sensitive, no concept of violence, only barks like 1 time a week, usually just at shadows.

Wednesday has 2 speeds: passed out (usually on top of one of us) or full military with afterburner. She's generally good, but has a bad tendency to completely ignore us when we call for her to come in from outside (she likes it out in the backyard far more than our previous boxer/pit mix did- he only wanted to be outside to go to the bathroom), especially if the neighbors' dogs are out. In which case she'll be literally biting the fence to try and get to them (honestly most likely because she wants to play with them- she also likes other dogs far more than our previous dog) and I often have to go out and catch her and carry her in if the neighbors don't call their dogs in.
