I think your future ex-wife is going to be the lucky one. I wish you the best in your endeavor. You are going to need it.

Well thats all kinds of messed up. Good luck buddy. Bit seriously that was the florida-est story ive heard today. I think youre heading to your mecca.
Ho-lee-phuk...
I got nothin..
Good luck man, be careful, I sure hope you're making the right decision here.
Not to be "that guy" but you mentioned custody. You've got a kid with current wife? What about your kid?

My child is a mamas boy. He still breastfeeds. I'm letting her have this one because I can't drag him down there. He's got some special needs that I believe are better cared for up here. It's gonn hurt, but everyone has already committed. Trust me I don't like it. But, Amy works at Disney world. She makes decent coin. I will be able to be a regular part of my child's life. Amy wants to be a part of his life too.
Well, good luck with all of it, I hope it all works out for everyone involved.
Keep us posted, some of you guys on here make me glad I've got a boring life.
Shawn
Holy berk man, that's wack. I'm from Florida though, so at least I can help. If you don't mind commuting to Titusville, and have any sort of an ability to work in a chrome shop, I can hook you up with an interview.
And now for the first time I see why my wife asked me to never get a facebook account.
Those are some big changes. Good luck and I hope you find what you are looking for.

Facebook is the snake in the garden of Eden.
Holy crap! I don't envy your situation at all. But... Sometimes you need to go see about a girl, I suppose.

Already in the works.
Knowing you/your situation I kinda imagined a scenario like this unfolding. Wish you the best on your journey!

I actually live in Lakeland, been here for 23 years.
I lived in the Pine Castle area of SE Orlando. Not much around, but quiet, affordable, and had some decent Cuban and Indian food nearby. Downtown was a 15 minute drive away at night; I would go for a leisurely stroll around Lake Eola a few times a week. I wasn't a huge fan of the Orlando area, so I got out in less than a year. Had enough of Florida, really.

Thanks. Means a lot to me. I'm sure I'll be fine.... Really it's a matter of logistics right now.
This forum never fails to amaze. I hope it's really what everyone wants and things are peaceful.
Otherwise, invite the current wife to move with you. What could go wrong ;)

+eleven billion, unfortunately I would think the damage with the pre-Amy is already done and there is no turning back now.
I wish you the best, it sounds complicated. I'm surprised at how eager your wife is to push you into another woman's arms. Other than your anticipated happiness, does she somehow benefit from this arrangement?
Damn that escalated quickly!!!! Might as well tell all the gory details...just use forum friendly code words. Good luck....seriously. This sounds like a house of cards teetering for sure.
As a Florida native, I love the state. All I can say about why you're headed our way is good luck. I hope it works out for all involved.

So, so true. It never ceases to amaze me how instantaneously my skin starts to crack as soon as I get somewhere dry. Going to CO in the winter seems to be the worst. Cold AND dry weather kills me. Someone mentioned earlier that they'd rather add more clothing in a cold climate that try to stay cool in a hot climate. berkeley that. I can't stand being cold!
