What brands/locations are solid about not upping rent every few months and are there any to stay far far away from.
The long and the short is the house I've been renting for 9+ years is being sold and I have 60 days to move out and Curtis can attest to it being packed up heavily. There will be a purging of things, but with the time constraints, many things that will likely be sold will be organized and prepped for sale, but likely won't sell until after the relocation

I've always dealt with Uhaul's branded stuff- but I've never needed it for very long, and rent has never changed. Bonus that I can get a truck right there if I need one.

I've only used local ones and not chains, and they've been stable. I think the monthly rent on a large unit is still the same today as when used them 5 years ago.
If it's only temporary, like 6 months, many times you can get a better deal paying for the 6 month up front. Last time did that I got 6 for the price of 5.
Do you know where you are moving? Look for something near where you will be living?

I don't know exactly where I will be moving to, but it'll be in a similar location or at least the same half of the beltway. If I were to rank locations in terms of preference, I would say top of 695 as 1st choice
