This is why I think in-store kiosks aren't going to be universal. Some people really want a cashier to ask them if they found everything they needed.
I used to be a bank teller and was surprised at the number of people who liked to come inside to write a check for a small amount of cash.

What materials are you building your drone out of? It's a pretty hostile environment.
It's 1000 degrees at the ceiling, which is why we crawl. The flip down visors on helmets melt at 200 degrees, which is how we used to determine if it was getting too hot at floor level and maybe a good time to start working your way back out.
We do carry some very expensive thermal imaging cameras which can distinguish fractions of degrees in temperature. That's how we currently search for unconscious victims in a fire. The person stands out from the background because they are the coldest thing in the room.
Without the thermal imaging camera, you can only see about six inches above the floor until the fire is knocked down and ventilated.
You would never have time to set up and operate a drone until you get to the overhaul phase of the incident. At that point, you are not looking for survivors.
