Not the track this time but the paddocks and in field viewing area.
Enlarged A paddock and B paved. Grading to remove wet spots.
The hill side has been reconfigured to give a better view.

jalopnik is taking a Alfa 4C up there today, I predict a valance being lost in the paddock area based on how it was 2 weeks ago.
I was there on Monday. There's a lot of work going. Skip was standing on the hill surveying the scene. I spoke to him a few weeks ago. The whole project is going to take two years but they will be able to attract bigger events.
I'm surprised they are spending money there. I figured the boo birds would have forced it to close by now. Never been and have always wanted to go.
The email from them talked about the A-paddock being enlarged to include fan walkways as well. Season opener 5/22... coming up quickly!
Wow. Pretty extensive. A far cry from the first time I attended a race there in the sixties. It was a quaint little track then, but had Trans Am and Formula 5000 pro events as well as SCCA Nationals. I think Lime Rock is one of the prettiest race tracks in the country. I'm glad Skip keeps putting a lot of the profit back into improving the facility.
It's hard to tell from this photo, but this entire hill has been terraced to create a better viewing area. They have moved a massive amount of soil.
Regrettably the etifosis did not get to lovely LRP last year, my favorite Park.
Skip has not not skimped on improvements as of late but I miss peeing on the wall.
I loved having ALMS AND ROLEX BOTH visiting. Thanks for the awesome merger that made a little too much into not close to enough, NASCAR.
The Historics are incredible, but I want to see the Pro-est of the Pro's race the newest of the new, for paychecks.
But it was time/$ issues preventing our return in '14, first time we had to skip Skip's in 15 years. Not to be repeated in '15, I hope!
