So Im considering a laser engraver and cutter
I really was thinking sub 600, which puts me, mostly at a diode laser, but there are some smaller (8x12) platform CO2 one out there too in that budget.
The Monsport (https://monportlaser.com/collections/desktop-laser-engraver/products/monport-40w-lightburn-laser-engraver) looks like a great thing...but bedsize
I can get larger bed with a Sculpfun S30 for less, but would still need to buy pheripherals to go with it...now it's up to the same cost.
I want it mostly to make some gifts for myself/give to others, but if I can earn a few bucks - wonderful. If I could cut some 1/4" thick wood - perfect. Cut carbon fiber? That'd be neat...not necessary though.
Any suggestions or ideas? Opinions?
