1989 Dodge Daytona ES Turbo. I think it has a 2.5 based on my research. 150 hp. It doesnt look to terible. Might need alternator. It has 15" wheels. Some front end damage (lower bumper/spoiler) and light doors dont work right. They want 350.00.

I did get it. Gotta run out & get a temp tag. Will post pics. I feal like the count...One red turbocharged car... Two red turbocharged cars...hehehee...
Check the front floor pans where they meet the sides of the cowl and the firewall. They tend to rot there.
The ES ground effects were used for a couple years and it was available as a non-turbo as well. So there should be some clean pieces still out there.
If the headlights are stuck in either the up or down position, there's a headlight module in the dashboard. It's accessed by pulling the top trim piece off the dash. The module is bolted to the middle of the dash were a center speaker would have gone in the earlier cars.
The module has a couple relays in it that stick over time. The circuit board is set in a rubber cement potting compound. It's not fun, but it can be dug out. I've gotten as far as cleaning it all off the board and de-soldering the relays. Then that little project got put on the back burner. Plan was to wire up some pigtails to the board to allow the module to use standard Bosch relays.
I have a clean front end with gfx, headlights and no use for it, but shipping is not happening. my daytegra is long gone. Have new seats and too many parts still...
lots of progress on diy tuning in the last few years.
On the topic of shifter bushings (although I had the newer transmission), if yours is manual, get the "booger bushings." I refused to buy "booger bushings" for the longest time because they were around $20, and I refused to pay that much for 4 bushings. however, years later after loosing some bushings and having no other option than to buy them, I got them. Best money I ever spent on that car.
Stock shifter bushings are designed to isolate the shifter for nvh reasons, they are little soft rubber pucks with lots of holes to make them softer. Replace with harder rubber with no holes and the shifter feel improves exponentially.
Have fun
If you want to add the stock intercooler I have all the parts (except the radiator is in pretty poor shape). Make an offer and its yours. I paid $90 for all of it, but its probably worth closer to nothing so Id just be happy to have it gone.
I have some pictures in my profile. Workin on putting them here. Drove the car home. ( about 1000 feet). I have had my eye on it for awhile. College kid needed money for new car. $350.00. Alternator seems to be ok (14. 5 volt output). Wont start without jump box.

Those seats and other parts wouldn't be a bunch of burgundy interior pieces, would they?

No, grey. Front end is black. Most parts were spares/upgrades for a 91
Im in california. I dont mind packing the stuff to send it if you want to buy it. id want more for it to send it than for someone to pick it up though of course.

That's not a bad idea and I've thought about dying other pieces to work. I may even end up fabricating some.
This one isn't a Challenge car, I'd like to make it a nice weather 3 season daily driver. It's getting more of a restoration with some upgrades along the way.
