I figured I would be fine plowing through deep water because my air intake is the highest point of my engine bay.
Made it through some lakes just fine, and it was all well and good until the diff module, mounted to the bottom of the rear diff, shorted internally and took out the high speed CAN. Oops.
My kids were working sideline for tonight's 7th grade football game and when I left to get them there were already some deep puddles and flooding. Tested the water wings in the new daily.

In other anger, yesterday was officially the last day of summer, Sept 21. I was in a Lowes in metro Cleveland last night. The employees were assembling artificial Christmas trees for sale and snow blowers were already on the sales floor.
I can go pretty deep, 3' before I start to think "I hope this doesn't get too much deeper".
