I finally figured it out. This is the guy in Switzerland or where ever isn't it? He does some incredible work.
Yes, the My Mechanics YouTube channel. There are a number of guys out there doing tool restoration videos; most of them are simply scraping off some rust and spritzing on a coat of black spray paint, but this guy really does a restoration. I especially liked the tire air gauge he did a while back.
Chasing the knurling was impressive. I did chuckle when he polished that spring. Definitely a perfectionist!
