New Dawn Fades will forever be my Joy Division song. I loved covering it during my band days 30+ years ago. I wish we had a good recording from when we did it.

I was wearing a Japanese version of the Joy Division shirt pictured above and a random stranger still recognized the album art and said, "Nice Joy Division shirt!" I was dumbfounded.
Not familiar with the band, but they got the title wrong.
A few years ago, the band made some “reimagined” videos.
This one’s dark and helpless. Perfectly captures the song.
