I am sure you all have heard about the crap that we having going though here in Wisconsin this week. I have not been downtown but from what I have seen its a very big mess and I know one of our local dirt track drivers just lost his car and family biz by the sounds of it this week. I know The camera Biz that I just had a lens fixed got torched. I just got my lens back two weeks ago.
After the shooting with the 17 year last night The idiots leading the riots said they where going to torch Antioch, IL. That is 2 miles south of me and so far from what I cans see tonight its been pretty quite out here with some smaller stuff, but so far nothing really has gotten out of hand that I can find on scanners and Facebook. But it is only just after midnight and things can sill get nasty. I guess even in Kenosha its pretty quite tonight from What I was talking to my brother on the phone. Yep, Stayed home and not went after a certain time and was out working and drove though Antioch tonight and the town looked like it was getting ready for war.

Watching closely. This hits very close to home personally, and especially for one of my best friends - he's a black man, who I've been with when he's experienced systemic racism and I've gotten him out of it just by being there and being white. He grew up 20 miles south of Kenosha. His uncle was (is? May still be) a pastor at a church in Kenosha.

Thanks everyone. Seems that nothing really broke out last night from what I can find on Facebook and the scanners so I think we dodged the bullet on this one and even Kenosha was pretty quite last nit by the sounds of it, which is good that things calmed down I hope. But this E36 M3 is getting out of hand and this year really has sucked for all the shot going on for sure. But not much we can do about it expect vote some better idiots into office. As for politics, I am not going say anything beyond what I just said so that there is no lead for name calling and stupid. Anyway, thanks everyone and hope everyone down south makes it though fine that is going to nailed with the storm.
Yes, from what I hear, Chicago is not that bad, but the bad stuff is heavily concentrated in some VERY bad areas (I believe my mom actually grew up many years ago in what is now one that very bad area).
Of course, the recent trend seem to be to "bring the terrorizing to the nice areas"
"nice areas" though, mostly seems to translate to "expensive stores"

I'm in Minneapolis, so I can sympathize - a good part of my neighborhood burned back in May. There was more unrest and damage yesterday, after a man shot himself on a downtown street and the social media rumor mill was saying he had been killed by the police
Thanks to everyone. We have small group hanging out that night and they did not do anything. Nothing really seemed to have happened and even Kenosha has calmed down at least.
