It starts tonight right? I'm already sick of hearing about it. Please stop.
That is all, let the flaming begin.

Uh, don't watch?
Pretty easy solution.
I'm not planning on watching- walla- no stress or worry about it. Amazing.
No flaming here, I'm with you. My two least favorite things in sports are:
Basketball
College sports
So put them together and I'm finding anything else to watch.
And Dick Vitale...your one trick pony is getting old, baaaby. Just hearing him in commercials and SportsCenter clips makes my ears hurt.
ARRGGG!!! ANYTHING THAT IS POPULAR AND GETS MEDIA ATTENTION IS AWFUL!!! STOP SINCE YOU ARE GETTING IN THE WAY OF ME BEING A WEIRDO!
Go fill out a bracket and put some money down. Have fun with it.

No kidding... UK isn't in it so I couldn't be bothered.

You mean don't watch TV, or listen to the radio right? Yup, that's how you avoid it. And I'm not stressed or worried, just making a comment to vent my frustration. It's typical media. Something of interest happens and it becomes THE ONLY THING to talk about.
In reply to EastCoastMojo: The irony wasn't lost with me haha. I knew someone would point it out.

Amen to that. Especially the college sports thing.
I'm not that in to the whole sport ball thing and I pretty much just ignore it... but I have to laugh when our receptionist comes in to my office and asks me if I can move my business meeting here in our office building to a different conference room because they want to watch basketball on the TV in the nice conference room instead of the crappy one.
When she asked me if I did my bracket yet she looked somewhat confused when I told her that I was still measuring and getting the various angles right before I started cutting the metal.
Really? I listen to the radio, and did turn on the TV the other day. Other than the Sports Illustrated magazine in the break room having it on the cover, I'd have never known March Madness was happening.
It's a basketball thing, right? Something magical happens this time of year out on the field?
I'll watch ... played basketball from the 3rd grade 'til after college ... when the 'Heels loose I'll loose most of my interest and will only watch if I've nothing else to do ... for all you haters ... remember there are many other channels/things to do ... heck you could watch NASCAR instead
I hate March Madness.
I understand you can "not watch". However, sometimes that is easier said than done.
I was at a sports bar with my wife last night. College BB was the only thing on. That annoys me!
Rob R.
I live in NC, which is probably the worst state for it. The hole (sic) state loses their mind this time of year between Duke and UNC.
I feel you.

Best answer! I really should do this. Then I might care.
one of our past company owners never contacted me or EVER replied to ANY of my emails - he blew off all kinds of important questions and details and decisions that he needed to make - so I stopped bothering him.
however he was always faithful in getting the "fill out your bracket" form and return to me along with your money.

PFFFFT. UK and Loserville here. Duke and UNC can suck it.
That said, I'll watch my one team worth of playing, Michigan State, and seeing if everyone, OSU, IU, UF, etc, else can lose. After that, don't care until the championship game.
Slowly this is turning into April Madness instead.....
What is a "bracket"? I've heard the term before, but for the life of me, I can't figure out what it actually is.
This thread is a perfect example of AWESOME life in America is.
You have to make up things to be upset about.
There were only two games of the NCAA tourney on last night, and they were on TRUtv, one after the other. One channel of ESPN had the NIT tourney on. There were four channels with NBA basketball on. I hardly see the 'saturation' of March Madness.
Hell, most of you talking about how much you hate it will even know if you get half the channels it will be shown on!

"walla" is spelled "viola" BTW

Exactly. First-world problems, indeed......

not sure if serious....
teams matched up all the way down the left column, then all the way down the right column, as they win they move to the next round, and get matched up with a winner from another game. and so on until there is a winner for the whole tournament.
i dont follow basketball at all, but I guess i hear a lot about it on the radio and coworkers.
